Meet Olivia AKA October Sunshine!

We’re excited to launch the very first post in our new Meet the Team series - a closer look at the wonderful people who help shape Studio Wald.

To start things off, we’re shining a spotlight on Liv, our talented Production Assistant whose love of colour & creativity brings so much joy to the studio.

From her roots near Ilkley to her vibrant online shop, October Sunshine, Liv brings an infectious enthusiasm to everything she does.

Get to know more about her family, her work with us, and her passion for curating beautifully bright products.

Tell us about you and your family.

Hi! I am Liv (Olivia), born and bred near the beautiful town of Ilkley. I live with my partner Luke and our two children.

What do you do at Studio Wald? How long have you been working here?

I work as a Freelance Production Assistant at Studio Wald, mainly assisting with making and compiling of products for wholesale orders. I have been working freelance for Jake and Freya since December 2021.

What is your favourite part of the job?

Tell us about your beautiful shop - October Sunshine?

I run an online concept store curating colourful stationery, cards and homeware.

I originally launched my website in 2017 but paused it for a while due to work and family commitments. I relaunched in 2020.

How do you find such unique products? What is the inspiration behind the collection?

I often find beautiful products via social media and then research the brand. My inspiration is colour! I am committed to spread joy through colourful and unique goods.
